(一)自 107 年 8 月中國大陸發生非洲豬瘟迄今，全球疫情未見緩和， 109 年仍有新增希臘、巴布亞紐幾內亞、印度及德國等國爆發疫情。
(二)109 年入境旅客人數雖受全球 COVID-19 疫情影響大減，惟郵包及快遞貨物查獲違規動物檢疫物案件數則無明顯下降，各邊境管制單位除已規劃春節之加強把關措施，並將持續加強查驗郵包及快遞貨物，避免違規動物檢疫物進入國內。
(三)提醒民眾勿於網路購買疫區或來路不明境外肉製品，若收到來路不明含豬肉產品的包裹，可逕聯繫行政院農業委員會動植物防疫檢疫局(以下稱防檢局)收取，或就近親(寄)送至該局各分局或地方動物防疫機關進行銷毀。
