一、水墨畫家侯兩傳出生台南佳里農村，年少喜歡塗塗畫畫，就讀台南師專時，受孫秋林老師、張雲駒老師國畫指導，從此愛上水墨畫，專研 30 多年未曾中斷；曾任台南縣美術學會第五、六屆理事長，及南師藝聯會理事長，曾出版侯兩傳水墨畫集第一、二、三、四集，其創作於國內外獲獎與辦理個展無數；侯老師一生從事美術教育工作，退休後更致力水墨書畫教學於各文化中心、社區大學、樂齡中心等，畫藝學生桃李滿天下。
二、侯兩傳老師以孤獨的「黑」加入「心情色彩」來展現大地之美，其畫面佈局隨心所欲，不拘泥於山形輪廓，有時更以簡潔的筆墨來表達無限的視界；這次展現獨出的新意與畫風創作共 38 件，邀您前來欣賞藝術中領略禪味及人間忘返之境的創作個展。
