說明：
一、畫家吳盈著老師是在地土生土長的新營人，小時候就嶄露畫畫興趣與天份；民國 64 年進入美術班就讀前，便以油畫「窗前靜物」入選第 30 屆省美展，四年後更奪得第 34 屆省美展油畫類市長獎。因此他退休後回到故鄉新營，陸續發表黑白系列、拱系列的銳意新創作，令人印象深刻。其中以人為主題的黑白系列，簡化中間層次，在明度色調中表現人的形體；拱系列以拱門形式的構圖，分配出圖、框，讓圖框和繪畫並立，其畫作構圖嚴謹，色調沉穩，展現出新古典意味的風格。
二、這次展出油畫創作 40 件，巧妙的應用油彩厚疊、薄彩、筆觸、平塗、透明的特性，探索人間細膩的日常美感，邀請大家一起前來欣賞吳盈著圖框與繪畫美麗相遇的故事。
