(一)旨揭活動表揚對象包含：
１、團體：機關（構）、公私立幼兒園、學校、學校認可之學生社團（團隊）、依法立案之團體及法人組織。
２、個人：學校教職員工及實際從事本土語言推展之個人。
(二)凡有下列事蹟者，均得予以推薦：
１、從事本土語言之創作、展演、傳播或推廣，足以振奮人心。
２、從事本土語言復育、調查、研究或出版，具相當成效。
３、捐資成立或充實有關本土語言之圖書館、博物館或其他文教設施。
４、成立、獎助成立或捐贈成立推展本土語言著有績效之團體。
