一、 2018 年兒童文學月規劃「iReading?愛閱讀」系列活動，以「閱讀、戲劇、創作」為三大主軸，「iReading．愛閱讀」以兒童為主體，「i」代表「兒童自己」能主動欣賞文學的素養，培養兒童主動閱讀的習慣，讓兒童從引起興趣到愛上閱讀，結合各項戲劇活動深化學生的學習內容，幫助學生從閱讀中培養帶著走的能力，並活用所學，落實於生活中。
二、兒童文學月相關活動包括「文學小論壇」、「文學地圖走讀」、「推推書」、「行動英語列車」、「校園 Fun 電影」、「故事嘉年華」、「戲劇文學列車」、「兒童文學創作專輯-小黑琵」、「繪本創作展演」及「優質本土兒童文學書籍徵選」等，共計 10 項活動。
