說明：
一、出生於台南新營的沈麗玉老師，自幼即喜歡塗鴉，從新民國小、南新國中到新營高中，一路跟隨畫壇大師葉敏瑞老師之啟蒙與栽培，與美術結緣甚早且深。 1980 年進入國立藝專雕塑科繼續深造，畢業後遠赴花蓮海星中學擔任專職美術教師，從此定居花蓮。 1988 年為推廣生活美學及傳承視覺藝術，創立白水泉繪畫工作室從事創作及兒童美術教育，長期深耕東海岸藝術質感的提升。 1997 年從國立台灣藝術大學美術系畢業後，仍任中學美術老師專職外，更積極參與投入地方與國際藝術之接軌，不僅應邀參加北京國際藝術博覽會，並連續獲邀參與東海岸大地藝術節的駐點與展出，對行銷地方觀光藝術文化具相當程度貢獻。
二、這次展出作品共計 20 件，邀請同仁蒞臨欣賞沈麗玉老師山海有情、花樹有愛的「大地之歌」油畫創作個展。
